I use the application 'Folder Guide' which installs itself in the Explorer Context menu (it allows fast access to specified folders). It works faultlessly in Home Premium 32 bit and 2 different installs of Business 32 bit. In Business 64 however it does not appear in the context menu when right clicking on the desktop or Explorer windows. However it DOES appear when clicking within the open or save dialogs of certain applications (eg Adobe CS3 apps, MS Office, Notepad++, OpenOffice). This makes me reckon there is a hack to get it working in Explorer windows too. So any comments on this behavior in general and specific tips to get 'Folder Guide' working would be much appreciated. Apologies if this posted twice. It didn't seem to work first time.
It works if you open up the 32bit explorer, as do other 32 bit shell extensions. Here's the command I used on x64: %windir%\SysWOW64\explorer.exe /separate, /root, c: You can use whatever location you like and make shortcuts.
Hey How do you implement that command in vista x64 ??? %windir%\SysWOW64\explorer.exe /separate, /root, c Not sure how to edit default functionality of folder guide.
