Hi there, I have a Samsung RF711 laptop and need to source a Vista driver for its NIC.

Here are values in the Hardware ID section of the device manager for the NIC I'm trying to get Vista drivers for:

It's labelled as a Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller

    PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&SUBSYS_C0A5144D&REV_06
    PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&SUBSYS_C0A5144D
    PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&CC_020000
    PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&CC_0200

Any help with this will be gravely appreciated.

    Cheers

    Thanks for the reply.

i have already tried the Vista and WinServer 2008 Driver from this page a few days ago but I'm not having any joy with it.

I need the Vista driver. I know it sounds mad but the Win7 isn't any good for what I'm doing.

    Cheers

Is it WLAN NIC or straight wired NIC?

Is it possible a Bios setting is preventing the driver from loading?
