In uTorrent on Win XP Event 4226 patched I was getting 1 MB/s d/l quite regularly. Now I'm lucky to get 200 KB/s! I can't seem to get the Yaronmaor patch to work. When I run InstallPatch32.bat I get: "Confirm to apply? (press Ctrl-C and answer Y to terminate) Press any key to continue..." So what am I supposed to do? See the attcahed image file to see the result on "Press any key to continue" I'd be very grateful for any help!!
Anyone know anything????? Well there's a big disappointment! In 24 hours, 57 views but not a single reply to my post. Based on this and discussions in the uT forum there is no doubt that there is a MAJOR BUG in running torrents under Vista.... ......of course it could well be deliberate. What I know for certain is that if I go back to uT 1.6 and XP I will get a guaranteed 500% improvement. ???????
Luvpeaceguru, you need to run the batch file as administrator. Right click on it and select Run as Administrator.
