Vista Help needed...

    Hi

    New to forum..

    There are many methods given on the website right now for activating VISTA...

    I am totally confused..

    Can someone list the best and working method to keep vista activated and working.. I am using the retail version downloaded LRMCFRE_EN_DVD.iso ..

    I just have one key which allows installation..

    Hi

    The best and only method to activate Vista is to buy the original or buy an Brand OEM computer with Vista pre-intalled.

    But if you want you can participate in our study of adding SLIC tables to the bios. ;)

    Extract your Vista.iso files and inside the Sources folder create a new text file and copy paste the text below inside and save the file as PID.TXT

    [PID]
    Value=(your OEM Vista key here)

    Now take your OEM XRM-MS file that matches your key and copy the file to:

    SOURCES\$OEM$\$$\SYSTEM32\OEM

    If the $OEM$ and subfolders dont exsist, create them.

    Burn the contents as a bootable DVD and you have your OEM disk!

    Only works if you have an oem key and oem certificate
