Slic 2.1 Hi Do this certs also work for Vista with PC already having a 2.1 slic Bios ? So if I upgrade to a bios with 2.1 slic (from 2.0 as I have now) Do I need a new cert AND new OEM - keys ? (Or do my old ones work also ?) Where do I find them if not ? tnx digitara
2.1 is supposed to be backwards compatible for Vista if I remember correctly. A few, like Dell, use the old certificate for both 2.0 & 2.1. Some may require a 2.1 cert to activate Vista & Windows 7.

Positivo Z65 Hi, I have just a Bin to share this time. It comes originally with Vista Starter, but now using Windows Xp. Then the bin file is 2.0 POSITIVO Z65 its a laptop brazillian brand.(a pice of crap) any way. The bin name is so interesting. it says positivabacaxis... in portuguese Abacaxi means Pinaple, that mean when you have a big troble in your hands we say we have a Pinaple in hands. lol the maker assumes it is a Pinaple. lol View attachment 6403 I hope it helps some one EdioIlha

It says Vista OEMSLP Certifcation, right? Windows 7 uses SLIC 2.1 and Vista SLIC 2.0.. SLIC 2.1 activates both vista and 7.
