Vista Setup esd image

    im using windows 10 x32 setup files with vista install.esd

    im getting error message “Windows cannot find the Microsoft Software License Terms. Make sure the installation sources are valid and restart the installation.”

    testing with vmware
    any one have any idea how to solve it or how i can use vista esd image

    That is not first error you will encounter. Better to use POWIS. I have already created solution for Vista with install.esd :)

    Yes it works with captured image too. In future there will be more options to deploy Vista from ESD, but this needs some time as new POWIS Launcher can do that and it will be part of next XP2ESD release (soon). Then I will probably update POWIS as next project :)

    maybe add xp x64 support

    and another thing even with wim image you get this error

    You need to use Vista + 8.0 to get Vista with install.esd and also do no mismatch boot.wim and install.wim / install.esd languages.

    yhe my capture image is he+en and the setup files is win 10 he x86 (boot.wim)
    can i just use \ add the patches files to the setup?

    @George King Thanks for your help got it working. also needed to add ei.cfg to pass the serial.

    I use WinNTSetup to install from esd images
