    Hi,

been using a SLC bios mod and activated Vista ultimate with the asus OEM key / cert. Everything worked fine.
Recently, I did an bios update using this 1:

    Nforce 680i SLI A1 - Revision :p32
Slic : Asus mod Fzeven, tested by Pixelated

    After that I installed SP1.

Now Vista refuses to activate again with the asus key, giving me the "invalid product key" finger...

    Any ideas?? (thanks in advance!)

Did you try going back to the previous BIOS?

Was Vista activated after the BIOS update but before SP1?

If Vista was activated prior to SP1 it still should have worked after installing SP1, since SP1 does not look for hard coded BIOS mods, only soft mods such as Paradox.

Do you have a backup of your tokens.dat file? If so try to restore it, replacing the current one.

    Finally, try de-installing SP1.

going back to the old, previously working bios doesn't help.

Deinstalling SP1 now.. takes like ages

Have you ever before used some kind of crack, like paradox. If you have, then you have to make shure that the crack is properly removed.
That might be the problem, I`m saying that "just might", not shure anyway.
