Vista User Account password. how to delete it ?

    Hi all..

    Got my mates lappy and it is password protected.

    Tried a couple of those bott discs to rmove password but no luck yet.

    Anybody got a sure fire way to let me get in..

    Cant even find out what SLIC info is on ther damn thing...:mad:

    helppppppppppppppppppppppppp....

    good luck

    but if your doing a windows 7 install why not do it from boot instead of within windows. or is there data he needs before reformatting?

    I was not told to save data,but it seems the thing to do.

    Funny thing is, i dont have a contact number,but will be seing him at work monday night. Could just ask him then to find the password.
    Just thought i would try to be clever and impress...

    not doing right well at all......

    And I'm in.....

    Took me some doing but i finally figured out the disc...I was not saving the "write to SAM" or what ever it said. asimple "Y" was all i had to do...

    Nice. finally get on with this job...

    Thanks for the tips my forum buddies...
