    It does not require an activation key. When it tells you that it is registered to your pc name, it just reads a string in your registry.

    All MSDN versions of Visual Studio 2010 have a MAK key inside.

    Does anyone know where I could get a MSDN 2012 version ultimate 64 bit ? I've searched all the normal places.

    There is no 64 bit edition of Visual Studio 2012.

    Yup, only 64 bit parts are servers, web, team explorer and express for win8.
