Good morning all, I'm trying to find a legit download for Visual Studio Express 2012 (Free) which will run on a Win7 Ultimate 64bit O/S. Any links i've tried (And there's been many) bring me to VSE 2012 for Win8. I've been reading what seems to be contradictory info on VSE 2012. Some says it won't run on Win7, others say it will run on Win7 and above. It's leaving my head spinning. All i want is a download of VSE (Free) 2012 that WILL run on Win7 Ultimate 64bit. Do you know of any other good free alternatives to visual Studio Express for a novice like myself. The reason i ask is i've been told that VSE 2012 was good for beginner/novices as it had less bloatware or intimidating than other S/W for more experienced/advanced programmers.
