Hi to all!: I'm not certain about the right thread for this post because I'm not asking for Microsoft Office only but for all Microsoft products, so here it goes: Is there a way to check SHA-1 sums for VLSC products the same way we do it for the ones at MSDN, without a subscription?

Thanks a lot in advance! :)

Thanks EFA11 for clearing this up for me!. Right now I'm needing SHA-1 sums for these ones:

    SW_CD_Office_Professional_Plus_2007_W32_Spanish_-2_1_PA_BP_MLF_X16-19782.iso
    SW_CD_Office_Professional_Plus_2007_W32_English_-2_1_PA_BP_MLF_X16-19797
    .iso

I'll appreciate if someone could help!

    These are what I have.
    Code:

Thanks again EFA11!! :worthy:, hope some other members join to compare!, I see things @ VLSC are not as organized as @ MSDN, maybe it's required for their subscribers to put a little pressure on the verification of the integrity of downloaded files or maybe the lack of verification is part of the TOS?. If you google this file 20140203_ VLSC_DL_Catalog.xls, you'll see detailed info on all available downloads from quite a few years ago till 3rd Feb 2014, somehow I found strange no hashes of any kind are present but it will be useful because all product names, ISO or application names etc., are in there!!:), I know this is not news for the experts @ MDL but maybe for newbies like me!!

the majority of VLSC iso's are Identical to MSDN just renamed.

english MSDN for the above file EN file is

    Code:
      File: EN_OFFICE_PROFESSIONAL_PLUS_2007_X86_CD_X16-19797.ISO
    CRC-32: 225557bb
       MD4: 49a671d9fe7360036b9c43252f343773
       MD5: e83432349d752655df84cee1e629dc74

Thanks tfosorcim and EFA11 for your quick and precise replies. I randomly chose one of the FTP servers of search results @ FileMare, downloaded both files, now I can say SHA-1 sums match with EFA11's. I thought some VL products were only available through VLSC, for example:

    SW_DVD5_Office_Professional_Plus_2013w_SP1_W32_Spanish_MLF_X19-35870.ISO
    SHA-1: 976c1dd1f24cb6c3d78e12c1a64c96b5a14dd2cd

    es_office_professional_plus_2013_with_sp1_x86_dvd_3928787.iso
    SHA-1: D506B37504C67084703AA6E8AD81F1A2A5815DF

There's no equivalent for the VL version @ MSDN. Will it be correct if we say there are only VL versions @ VLSC and some VL and all Retail versions @ MSDN?
    Thanks in advance!! :)

The English x16 is one that was on MSDN and they removed it, they do not keep all of them as they progress through revisions. I couldn't find an equivalent one for ES though, glad you found something.

A complete list with VLSC SHA1 checksums would be very helpful.
