So try disabling hyper-v using bcdedit or bootice and see if the problem is fixed If this fixes your problem (problem or not VBOX is unbearably slow if HV is enabled), you have three choices #1 Leave HV disabled, assuming you aren't using any of the features relying on it (WSL2, WSA, VBS and so on) #2 Use hyper-V instead of Vbox #3 Use, leave HV enabled and use VMware instead of Vbox. (VMware, like Vbox, is slower if Hyper-V is enabled, but not that slower, and is way more mature than VBox in such scenario) You my try also a not yet released version of vbox (they are usually odd numbered, so as the time of writing the last release is 7.0.8, so you're looking for prerelease 7.0.9something)
