Today I created 2 VM machines, 1 as windows 7 Prof, final size with all updates was 52.1Gig I also created another windows 7 Ultimate, final size with all updates was 28.6G Any thoughts?
x86 install is smaller than x64... is size from explorer of each system ? or vdisk from host ? is Windows updat cleanup from Cleanmgr.exe done from two system ? you can compare systems with "WizTree"
search "Windows 7 Resetbase backport" online | download it & run it with its commandline switches. it will decrease disk size of your win7 installaed image a lot.
