I am working on configuring vmnet1 and vmnet8 or a bridged network within VMware. I am currently stuck due to my lack of knowledge in this subject. I do not know what a subnet ip address is? I understand what subnet mask is. I just have no idea what VMware is asking for when they ask for the subnet ip address withing the virtual network editor. If anyone can offer some help that would be awesome. Thank you.
I'm using Vmware player. I didn't find it asking for anything while selecting Bridge. All configurations are done on its own.
