I was running Windows 8.1 and using a W7 in a VM just to access internet banking. But after upgrading from W8.1 to W10 Build 9926, W7 doesn´t connect anymore to the internet. Even connected the W7 displays a red X on my connection.
I reinstalled VMware tools, running in compatibility mode with W8, but I cannot connect my W7 to the net.
Is VMware Player compatible with W10?

I just started using VMWare Workstation/Player.
So I've been watching a few 'How To' videos on YouTube, one of them mentioned about VMWare Player choosing the wrong Network Adaptor for its NAT and/or Bridging settings. It sounds like that whats happened to you.

Sorry, I don't have a link to the video. But searching VMWare Player + Networking on YouTube should bring it up.
    Good luck. ;)

    ZaForD.
On my Laptop with Windows 8.1, VMware Player chooses NAT. And with Windows 10 it is the same.
