Hey guys, im running windows 7 on debian linux, and im pretty happy with it. The cpu benchmarks at about 95% of what it does under windows 10, the gpu gets about 60% of what it would get in windows 10 running a direct x 10 test. Fullscreen 3d games perform great, but simple things like windows 7 gui has a stutter to it. Disabling aero only makes things slightly better. Any ideas how to fix the stutter? Its extremely strange ,games great, but win 7 gui stutters like im using a remote desktop. spec: -coffee lake cpu -nvidia 16xx graphics (this is what i use) -intel integrated uhd 630 graphics Please help, if i cant get win 7 running directly on the laptop. Virtualized win 7 is my only option.
