    To answer your question: No, this mod has nothing to with bypassing VM detection and/or physical video card passthrough.

    I can't find the 6006 resource in the vmware-vmx.exe file in the latest version (16.2.1-3). I can't find the resource in the Linux version too. It seems that ROM has been moved somewhere. I checked all the resources of the vmware-vmx.exe and none of them is ROM. Could you confirm that that? Maybe I'm wrong? Is there a way to extract ROM from the new version of the VMware?
