Should it be possible to extract bios (1b module) from vpc win 7 and use it to replace bios (1b module) in vpc 2007 sp1.

i only ask as it would make using ms xp mode image easier with vpc2007 as it would have markers in it to auto activate slp.

next i`m unable to test this but could someone test and report back and if working upload the moded vpc 2007 sp1 exe

alternatively if someone can provide me with bios for win 7 vpc i will intergrate to vpc2007 and test myself.

    Thx

Yes, it is possible. Or you can just edit the VPC2007SP1/VIRTUAL PC 2007 v6.0.211 RTM BIOS DMI module 06 to have the string
    Windows_Virtual_XP_F9161D8E7FCC11DDB FAA369856D89593
(this is the string already included in VIRTUAL PC AND XP MODE FINAL RTM BUILD 7600.16393.20090922-1800)
