As soon as I right click a file (in order to delete, copy or cut) , or browsing on internet, every program closes and you get desktop. I get this after upgrading to 14393. Has anyone got this problem?
No, but that's what happens when explorer.exe crashes. You might want to run admin prompt (win+x, then a) and "Sfc /scannow"
Did you uninstall Abby fine reader ? This may solve the problem. I had the same problem with program make virtual drive.
Shortcuts don't just cause explorer crashes by themselves. It's the program they link do that's causing the crashes. If they get it working without the crash, that's great. IMO should try to get an updated version of the program that doesn't cause the crash.
