Go into the device manager - properties of the device with asterix/question mark, then go into the Details tab and post the whole Device ID (like example : PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2940&SUBSYS_00000000 etc.)
here you go: PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_03F4&SUBSYS_73091462&REV_A2 just in case patched latest bios and upgraded it (v9.5), msi live update says im upto date, still no joy with the coprocessor thanks
Try to find the driver manually in the unpacked package. IMHO your setup is missing one of the infs that should be installed with the package...
yup, lol, had the same problem with every windows 7 build, had to extract the driver and "point" it to update from that folder to find the driver, fast and simple , hehe
downloaded the file from dell but no drivers for w7 only vista and previous, ideas? edit: im installing nvidia drivers again (for the 3rd time) just in case
Just search in the extracted packages (both nforce package and the one you have downloaded) for the driver manually (choose 'update driver' in the device manager and 'let me pick' then point out to one folder and if not found - another one).
I kept doing just that for every subfolder in both folders and nope, no suitable driver was found. If the solution is the AMD Away Mode Driver, its not included in the current W7 packages from nvidia, it is included for the vista distros. Searched even for beta versions with no luck at nvidia.com
hp (compaq) link didnĀ“t work, cannot update from these drivers, now downloading both mcp61 files (whql and non whql) to test them from the second link. All of these links are for vista... Im not holding my breath
it worked! using the unsigned drivers for windows vista 32, the file is named: nv_nf_mpc61-vista(www station-drivers com) its the one at the bottom of the page sciencefi linked. I wonder if any incompatibility/problem may arise from using this driver given its purpose: System Management Controller
