I read the following on Softpedia. Anybody here done an upgrade to W7 from Vista Ultimate and been able to verify that the install actually removes the extras?

"But at the same time, end users that will upgrade from Windows Vista Ultimate to Windows 7 Ultimate will lose access to the existing Ultimate Extras. The upgrade process removes all Extras from Vista Ultimate, with Windows 7 not being able to access the add-ons via Windows Update. At this point in time Microsoft has yet to confirm that this will be the default upgrade process for Windows 7, and that the Ultimate Extras will be wiped out entirely."
