Hello all you finest folks out there.
I am trying to install w7 x86 ultimate edition on the laptop. I have downloaded and added OEM folder with all the certificates to the image and burned the dvd.
Upon installation my version wasn't activated. It never happened before.
I used Opa tool to install manually the key, certificate and serial but it didn't help either.

I used slic ToolKit and I got the DELLM08_v2.0.bin
Does that mean that I must upgrade bios in order to get things to work?

The laptop is dell latitude d630
Please help me with advice on what to do.
Also if anyone maybe have a bookmark for the topic where Urie was talking about making universal W7 DVD for all the OEM brands.

    Thank you!

Being that your laptop is at least 4 years old, your BIOS will not contain the proper SLIC 2.1 required to have it activate by DVD alone.

Your best options are either to find a modified BIOS and use your DVD or use Daz's Loader.
