    Hi,

every time i log in to my desktop, my wallpaper is not displayed correctly. Only the top of it is, the rest looks like a plain old texture.
    I see this:

    wrong.jpg

    instead of:

    right.jpg

If I select the same wallpaper after logging in, it is displayed correctly, but that's very boring to do every time.
The problem does not occur if I select default Windows 8.1 wallpapers. I am running a genuine copy of Windows 8.1 Pro with WMC.
    Do you have any advice?
    Thanks.

    Hi Gfnn,

Yeah, I've had this too o_O

Now when you change wallpaper in Windows, it crates a new theme and for some reason (in Windows 8.1) when it saves that theme it adds the timer section needed for multiple wallpapers.
So when the timer reaches the 'change' time it messes up your wallpaper.

    Quick solution:
Goto Personalize, delete your present theme (should be at the top)
And create a new one using the 'Default Theme' as the base (it only has one wallpaper, so no timer section)

    Techie solution:
Navigate to the theme your using, open it up in Notepad.
Delete the timer section, at the bottom and save it.

    Good luck

Thank you for your message. It appears that creating a new theme using the default "Windows" theme fixed the problem.
I had previously used the "Lines and Colors" theme as the base.
