    I've updated the title.

    This app is helpful for people that use a custom vanilla rom. Yes, there are custom gcam mods, but they cannot be used without google play services.

    Regarding the disadvantages:
    1 - Root is not required.
    2 - An app can be deleted using custom recovery (no root) or using adb.

    If on stock rom because gms simulation have same package name so user need totally uninstall official gms app

    2. Yeah i forgot

    but UNINSTALL APP VIA ADB ISN'T GOOD IDEA using ADB you still can't install gms simulation app
    But you right at least need unlocked bootloader devices to do it ;)

    There's an option to download the app with a different package name.

    I don't want to open a new thread, so I'll ask here. In 2023, is there a better way to make gcam work without gapps? I'm using arrow os, vanilla.
