Hello Admins and Members. I have just joined MDL. I am using Lenovo laptop which has Windows 8.1 preinstalled. Now I want to upgarde it to Windows 10 pro. So my question is can I get a lifetime genuine Windows 10 pro on current Windows 8.1 single language? I have already downloaded "Win10_1703_English_x64.iso". Any reply/help/advice will be appriciated. Thank You.
Did you read the pin post "How to upgrade from W7/8.1 without going through the complete upgrade process"?
That only works when the genuine 8.1 is Pro, i read it's core single language so gatherosstate won't work. When possible do a clean install of 7 SP1, activate it by daz loader and the gatherosstate route will work. Or you have to upgrade to 8.1 Pro (just insert the pro gVLK), KMS activate it and upgrade using a modified (either home index deleted or ei.cfg) 15086 aka 1511 iso to establish a HWID for 10 pro.
Thanks for replying. Can you please refer me if any guide is available for the above mentioned steps?
Win 7 (+Daz Loader) >> 15063 works. Win 8/8.1 (KMS acvtivated) needs 10586 first, to get the digital license, as Enth already posted.
TairikuOkami, if you have actually used one, could you post or PM me with a source on this? I've found a few, but they don't seem legit.
Wow. This even works on a Ryzen processor. Was curious if gatherosstate would be able to recognize the CPU. Getting Win7 on Ryzen is a hassle because Win7 doesn't recognize any of the hardware. Not having USB ports, one is left without the ability to input keystrokes and driver files. Motherboard manufacturers provide utilities to slipstream USB drivers into a Win7 iso and finding those is the key.
