wanted windows 7 for Sony Vaio

    Hi does any one have access to a windows 7 for a sony vaio, my sons laptop needs a new instal it would be best if I could instal one with the required drivers for a sony vaio etc. :biggrin:

    Plus the original RTM version won't be supported by MS after February next year.

    No system restore disk or partition?

    You can check the Sony website to see if they offer a restore disk for your model too.
    I did this on a Toshiba (laptop) my friend w/ a bad HDD & they offered the disk for $30. I think it was.

    I own a sony vios. You can actually press the home key to start the restoration. I had done it many times.
