**WARNING** Do not use this with build 7022, it causes a tcpip.sys blue screen. Uninstall doesn't seem to work, nor does manually deleting the reg entries or msconfig. Since I disabled system restore by GPO I had to reinstall the OS. Just a FYI to people using NOD v4 and thinking about using 7022 or 7032.
Already using with 7022... EDIT: are you using smart security or anti-virus?? it seems fine to me (av)
yeah installed it, got about the way through then bam BSOD. It would boot into Windows then after about 2-3 mins it blue screened.
Hello fellas, had the same behaviour with build 7048. i traced the darn thing and figured its been the ethernet nic filter driver from Esets firewall, it wasn't loading properly at startup and then trying to write to some invalid memory adresses. thus windows went into BSOD. i installed nod 4 as an update over nod 3. this was the reason for this odd behaviour in my case. i removed the whole thing clean and did a fresh, clean install of nod 4 and then it worked.
I ran the NOD SS v4 RC on build 7000 without problem. when i did a fresh install of 7057 and NOD, i started to get the blue screen on tcpip.sys - didnt know what caused it, but figured it may have been NOD. I uninstalled and reinstalled NOD SS and it seems OK so far.
7057 is unstable and has many bugs in the networking stack I would either recommend you to stick with 7048 for now on or try not to use any tools that are working in parallel with tcpip.sys such as firewalls, bandwidth and networking monitors, half-open patches etc.
I've been using Agnitum's Outpost Security Suite beta build 6.5.2905 with no problems other than the anti-spam engine dies from time to time, but it's not generally available - you need to join their beta program.
