    Hello,

    I have 3 Situations:

    1. Windows 7 without unofficial Updates
    2. Windows 7 with George King Update Pack
    3. Windows 7 with George King Update Pack & alkykw Updates

I download many things with Jdownloader and a Netload Premium Account, when I load with configuration 1. i can load with 5 connections per Part.

When i load with configuration 2. all it's fine, my downloader loads fine.

But now when I load with configuration 3. my J Downloader loads for 5 secs. and then it stops, my HD light don´t goes off, I cannot quit Jownloader, I have to restart my System.

When I set the max. Connections per Server to 1, it works fine, but it is too slow.

It has to be a Buggy Update in the "alkykw Updates", I tested this Scenario on 4 PC´s.

What is the Buggy Update ?
    Can someone help me ?

    Nitra

This is a perfect example of an unofficial update screwing things up...
That's why I just stay away from them. Installing the official released updates is sufficient, and saves me from trouble.

Could you post which updates are included in the alkykw pack ?
Through deduction we can maybe figure out which one is causing your issue...

Well u could google the kb number. If you find any microsoft article about it, it "should" be safe.

noone cant tell you that because it depends on hardware and software you are using. For me all hotfixes are working on 4 different computers.... and this is probably the case for most of people (if they dont use jdownloader obviously ;) )

agreed. I don't see a reason to uninstall unofficial or leaked updates. This is a good reason why, sometimes these updates are not meant for public eyes because they coincide with something else or the update is in a beta or pre-release form.

There is a reason why businesses don't jump to update everything every patch tuesday, and this is because updates can break things, and those are official updates. So if official updates can break things then unofficial ones might really screw things up.
