Watch out for the Hotbar malware

    Thanks for the heads up. I generally stay away from ANY browser toolbar.

    On heads up on toolbars -- when you go to install a program, especially a free downloaded one, choose custom install. Then often it will give you the choice of installing just the app or of installing the app plus extra crapware like toolbars, making their page the default browser page, etc. You uncheck all the crap. Of course, it goes without saying that you only install trustworthy stuff anyway.

    I think we all know about this, yet the non tech savvy person just dont know better. Not to single out the non tech savvy users. Why do installers have other 3rd party (maleware/toolbars/addons etc.) bull crap; besides advertising?
