I just finished installing this asus p7p55d e lx motherboard and when i push the power button it starts up for about 1 second, quickly shuts down then immediately starts up again and finishes the boot process without a hitch. This only happens on a cold boot and everytime on a cold boot

The motherboard is new and it was flashed with the 1602 bios version from these forums. I am overclocking but mildly, and all i hear are the fans starting up for about 2 seconds then it shuts off and restarts itself and continues till windows 7 64 bit loads.

    My system consists of:

i5 750 running at 3.7 ghz (setting bios to default doesnt fix the issue)
    gtx 570
    xfi titanium sb audio
8 gigs gskill dual channel memory pc 12800
    2 sata hard drives
    no floppy
    sata dvdrom

one thing i did notiice is that if i shut down computer and restart it within a few soconds it boots normal but if i wait 30 seconds or so it does the double boot thing

Just found out something interesting, if I turn on the monitor only before turning on computer then let the monitor warm up for about 5 seconds (till the light on the monitor power button goes from green to blue) then turn on computer it boots without an interruption. I think the green light means its in dvi power saving mode and blue means its not but how could that make the computer start the way I described it in my first post?
