I just installed (clean install) Windows 10 Build 10158 and something weird happened. My Windows wasn't activated, so I paid $2 for the extremely cheap Windows Store offer. The question - is this real? My Windows now is activated. Update: it's preview key, M$ is testing something
Directly from the Windows Store. I clicked on Store button in the Activate section and that sent me to this. My Microsoft account telling me that I really purchased Windows 10 Pro. Also the Payoneer account. No fake. (Windows 10 ISO was downloaded from a link by the MDL member THE RAIN)
Contact the nearest Microsoft Office and check that those is an valid offer certified by Microsoft! And just to say, if that were an original and/or 100% legal deal, you should have received an Invoice/Receipt too! That's anyway needed for to be able to provide an proof that you obtained the Product Key/License on a legal way!
This is how he did it: No. I'm not joking. I just activated Windows 10 Build 10158 for $2. So here's what happened. Some of us insiders are struggling to upgrade from 10130 to 10158 as of this moment. I was one of them, and I couldn't wait, so I got an ESD for 10158 and did a clean install on VM again. This time, however, Windows was asking for a serial key, and the insider key provided by Microsoft on Insider page didn't work. So I skipped it, and when installation was done, I went to Settings to see how I can activate the account again. And right under where you can type serials to activate the device, there was this one little typo button that said "Go to Store". It redirected me to Windows Store, and there I could buy Windows 10 Pro for $2. No s**t. $2. TWO DOLLARS.
I guess the real question is, is the key you paid $2 for the same as the keys wzor released? If not, I'd consider paying $2
