Several days I talked in chatbox about the 'Obduction' game, it's really well done, neat graphics and for m it's game of 2016. Because everyone can play it - young and old. The price is pretty much okay for the support and game you get (already got second big update). Obduction and Hyper Lighter Drifter are fantastic games (imho) and worth the money. It's not only because the graphics, it's the story they telling and a lot of fun to figure new stuff out. /end of marketing ... buy it god dammit
Glad to learn that a Myst-like game has been released! Gotta play it when I've more time Thank you for news.
No, sorry. Hated Myst. I hate any game that is deliberately un-intuitive. A good game should have simple rules, be easy to play, but hard to master.
Each part of the Myst series is different, the only un-intuitive part is Myst IV revelation, though. One needs to figure how Cyan's style is to get their logic, then it is very intuitive and even logical. But I can understand that there are people who don’t like their style at all... In the meantime I continued to play Obduction....to me it is a masterpiece. After 5-10 minutes playing I get that much involved that I have the feeling to be a part of their worlds...no other game can do that but Cyan games..
Myst, like most puzzle games, are designed to appeal to narcissists who love feeling like they've figured things out that other people cannot. It's pretentious and far from an actual enjoyable experience.
It is an opinion based on the hatred (due to a bad personal experience?) A puzzle game runs the brain and the brain like that. It is the base of the intelligence.
Consider the game is more than 23 years old already... I suggest to play the realMyst or realMyst Masterpiece Edition which are a bit younger and has got real 3D.... If you get fun in such games I highly recommend Obduction....it's the best game I played in my lifetime (followed by some other adventures).
@Yen, ok you know all about this game , so I respect and follow to Obduction of course; this game is fantastic
