I have windows vista ultimate and am suffering from the effects of WGA, namely the fact that my desktop resets itself to black every hour on the hour. Short of forking out $300 for a new copy, I need a way to trick windows into thinking that the picture I want for a background is the color black. I could also get a program that resets my desktop background to the desired picture every hour, so that I won't even notice that windows resets it to black. I am running sp1, so WGA has changed from a system killer to a supper annoying nagger, giving you a nag screen at start up and resetting the desktop background to black every hour. If you have the steps to carry out any of my solutions above, or a new one, PLEEEEEEEEASE post a reply!
you are on the right forums why don't you get the details of your motherboard bios and do a search and see if anyone has done a bios hack if not request one in correct thread)
