For me: - Disable everything on installation screen. - Upon first boot, I disconnect my internet right away. Either do Microsoft Toolkit or GenuineTicket.XML. For XML, I disable ClipSVC then paste XML. As for programs: - Revo Uninstaller - KeePass - Volume2 - Everything - Launchy - CopyQ(finally replaced Ditto) - FileLocator Pro(for content of files) - Rocketdock - Samsung Magician - Kerish Doctor
The report button is still there so we can report lobo for going off topic all the time Nice to see you sobered err woke up there Mate
Second I install an photo of my mother in law as background to remind me to get the fullest out of life right now
Launchy is not in my top ten also, works sometimes/sometimes not, lol Or maybe they have made it alot better since I used it? I install Acronis Backup first and make backup after every 5 programs installed, I hate clean installing.

I'm fairly plain.
Nowadays, a fresh install of Windows means I just got a new laptop, so the first thing I do is shrink the drive, install Linux (right now my distro of choice is Mint KDE) in a dual-boot configuration with a nice-sized chunk of NTFS partition for shareable data. Then I start shucking all the preinstalled bloatware/malware out. I use several Firefox profiles for different browser environments, so I spend some time installing the necessary add-ons for each profile. Gotta do this in both Windows and Linux. I usually install Libre Office, and occasionally MIcrosoft Office when the need arises, then Calibre, Amazon books and Amazon music. My schematic design software, klink for tethering to my phone. Backup software to auto-save to the NAS. Printer interface. Wallpapers, dark themes... you can see why I used to build standalone installation discs for XP.
Use winaerotweaker to fix the volume control...Make it go up and down instead of side to side. OCD strikes again!
I'm with you. It's not OCD when it makes more sense to make it go up and down to the vast amount of humans.
