What are the recommended 'turn windows features on or off' settings? I installed net 3.5 and legacy components, I removed net 4.5 wcf features including tcp port sharing, removed remote differential compression, also removed smb/cfs file sharing support. Removed a few other things as well. Should I re enable some, what are the pros/cons of certain items listed? Thanks.

I don't screw with what is already there. I install the .Net3.5, and Hyper-V for OS testing. That is it.

What exactly do some of the features do? I don't have multiple computers so I don't need networking addons like that, so I'm assuming smb/cfs being turned off is fine, as well as remote differential compression. But what about stuff like wcf services, tcp port sharing etc.?
