what cable should I buy to connect monitor to pc?

    I just got a lcd monitor from friend, he lost the cable connect to the pc. The monitor is kds rad5c, I search online, it uses "15 pin HD D-Sub (HD-15)".

    ok. so one side of cable is db-15 analog connector, how about the side connect to pc?

    Same connector on both ends. Male DB-15.

    Video cards have female DB-15.

    HDMI or DVI will offer the best picture quality. Both are digital signals while your VGA is analog. Also, the only difference between using HDMI or DVI is that HDMI can carry both audio and video, but DVI cannot.

    HDMI cable is the option for you. It is very effective and reliable cable type. I am using since last 2 years and there is no problem to use it. It works very well so there is no doubt about it.
