    What could trigger the problem?

I've had a problem on Windows 7 which is solved now! But I like to see you guy's know what was trigger the following problem:

Windows 7 Ultimate installed on the following hardware:
    MB: MSI K8N Neo Platinum
    CPU: AMD Athlon 3.2
    RAM: 1,5 GB
    HDD: 1 x 250 GB Sata II, 1 x 120 GB Maxtor IDE 133
    DVD: 1 x DVD-RW Pioneer, 1 x DVD ASUS
Keyboard and Mouse: connected to PS2 Ports (the Mouse with USB -> PS2 connector)
2 printer (USB) connected (Brother DCP 330C and Epson R230)
    external HDD 80 GB (USB)

    Problem:
After the installation of Windows 7 and starting with the 2. full boot and after normal log on with username and password, for to access any Application etc. need to use Ctrl+Alt+Del to open the Taskmanager once and close directly again to be able to use any application!

That was happens with or without installation of applications and/or update etc. etc.

    Tested:

All hardware on different computers without any problem and same applies for the OS and software!

Now let see: What you guy's think or know what was trigger the problem?

    My first guess :

The mouse connected to PS2 gave the issue. PS2 support was disabled in bios, so you had to Ctrl+Alt+Del and bring up task manager.
Somehow after that, OS took over and mouse was functioning properly.
