I install Russian software once in a while, but the installation text/font is all gibberish. What do I need to actually see Cyrillic letters/fonts in Russian software?

Thanks! I had to set system language to Russian to see the letters. Downloading Russian Language Pack along with setting Location to Russia and adding Russian Keyboard (fonts) didn't make it happen. I really wish I could leave my system language as English, but still be able to see Cyrillic font/letters... It sucks having to switch back and forth to install software.
