Faststone and Xnview are great as image viewers and browsers. I've tried to configure Xnview to create brows-able thumbnails of video files but without much luck. Does anyone have any suggestions for browsing through video files (just a thumb of first frame or whatever)...? Thx

Answering my own question for others benefit. Finally figured this out. The ffmpeg.exe file that comes with XNView (XnView Root\AddOn folder) is from 2007. o_O No wonder it misses so many file types. If you get the current ffmpeg.exe from ffmpeg.org and replace the old exe all video file types will finally show up.
