    Hello, All!

What does this ALT tag means that I've given in picture below. When we just point our mouse cursor on Green tiny rectangular Dot under our user name then this ALT tag appears. So what does its mean? When it changes? My reputation power is 17 and it still hasn't changed yet. Also who gets stars? Who gets two or more green dots? Also what's the difference between MDL member and junior member?

Happpy. The ALT tag to which you are refering is a series of comical phrases created to go along with a members reputation level. As your reputation level grows, the comical phrases change. Also as your reputation level grows, the number of green dots will increase. Your reputation increases by 1 point for each month you are a member of the forum. Reputation level also increases as other members thank you for your useful posts. Alternatively other members can give you reputation by hitting the little star button below a post you have made. Reputation increases more quickly in this way, for example if Daz were to give you reputation yours would increase greatly because Daz has a very high reputation level. On the other hand if a new member gave you reputation it would increase much less.

As you post more at the forum you move up the ranking system:

Novice / Member / Junior Member / Senior Member / MDL Addicted / MDL Expert / Guru

As you move through the rankings and post more and more you will achieve stars, then trophies and in the end BIOS chips will be displayed under your username. This thread may interest you.
