Get them all and when you have installed you OS, have a look what for drivers are missing under device manager.
You can forget these: Intel Rapid Start driver ver:3.0.0.1056 3- Intel Smart Connect driver ver:4.2.40.2439 4- AppCharger ver:1.0.6 5- SATA Floppy Image ver:12.8.0.1016 6- Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver and utility ver:12.8.0.1016 you need all the rest
Not a good idea to open 2 same topic's in 2 different forum! Keep things together, even for to ease your own solve of problems!
Perhaps if user is installing onto various computers but 7.4-Gb is a bit much when correct drivers for his ASRock motherboard and GFX card are available
Guys plz for god's sake i just need u to tell me what is important drivers to install ? and unnecessary drivers to avoid ? And u didn't answer my all questions from my first post ?
yes i'm already searched in google but i didnt get a clear answer and i installed the INF driver after install the sound, lan,GTX drivers so is that makes any harm ?
Normally souldn't create problems, as i update my drivers from time to time . So the order of install is mostly a secondary problem. To end this: more drivers are not needed to install. On last two Win 8,1 laptops i only installed graphics drivers, the rest is running the default ones Windows is installing at Setup. No problems there .
Recent windows version perhaps require lesser drivers to function. On 8/8.1 for functionality, I only need NVidia and ASM SATA controller. I do install chipset, realtek network, and qualcomm wifi drivers but can also do without them.
Yep, do it on my main machine likewise. Tested both laptops by running 3D Mark in loop, both passed the stress test .
Same for me. I do not want to go off-topic but even on my laptop, if I get functionality, I save the driver installs for later. Most components do work on 8,8.1 except for native display. For that, I install video drivers straight up to get proper resolution.
Not that much off-topic, as the TS was asking which drivers are needed for a working system . Most vendors offer a lot of additional crap, that will mostly slow dow your system (if not break it nearly), so i guess it might be a good idea to point at this fact.
OMG guys why u insist not to answer my question as what drivers do i need and what i don't need from the list ?
