I am looking for the best Internet security soloution that wont slow your computer down. It's for my Nan's laptop and I will be downloading the gold release of windows 7 to replace the sluggish Vista! She has 1.73 dual core, 1GB of RAM and a 120GB hard drive. Just like my laptop but I only have 1.46ghz. I know that Norton is a system hog! It grinds your system away!
OK! on win7 use AVAST home and COMODO firewall. This is the best and lightest combination. I tested Kaspersky IS, AVG IS, Avira IS and my ports where not hidden on internet, so I used comodo and no problem regarding my ports. Avast has same results like other antiviruses. Once use it and you will know what I am talking about.
Avira Premium Security suite 9 is the best one, I have ever tried. you dnt need anything else if u have this one.
btw, new 2009 norton is no longer a resource hog. They finally rewrote it. To bad it took them this long so they lost so many customers.

lol kaspersky.... kaspersky uses up all of your ram gradually so f**k them. I use Norton Internet Security 2010 (beta for now) along with spybot: search & destroy.
