    Hey guys.
I got a toshiba laptop with original oem windows home. I want to replace it with windows 7 professional but I have a question about the restore partition. What would it take to overwrite the original restore partition with new win7 image so next time if I need to restore I would get windows 7 pro without all the garbage preinstalled? What would be the best way to do it?

    Thank you

it will install in the partition that you want it to,but in order to install to another partition and keep the original, you must first configure a new partition and make it like the size of original partition or whatever size you want, of your laptop,if your hard drive is big enough, just press the "new" in the red rectangle box like in the picture i provided, and determine the size of your partition, once that partition is created, install win7 on that partition and your original will stay in tact
