It's the one you like the best. Who suites your needs the best.

All these threads will only provoke opinions and no facts, and everyone has his/her own favorite one...

    • N if you have no need for core media support (some video games require this; aside from that though, you could likely use a 3rd-party video player like VLC and not need core media stuff)
    • non-N if you need core media support and/or just don't want to worry about it

N versions are not a feature but an enforced edition by the, i believe, european community. Because of that MSFT enforced it's own software in windows.

Neither, if you're asking that question.

My suggestion is anything non-LTSB, and non-N.
The reason for that is that if you actually had a reason to run LTSB (i.e., something more substantial than "people on the Internet say it's the best" or "it doesn't spy"), you would have to have an understanding of the available editions in the first place. And if you had that you wouldn't be asking whether N or non-N is "better".

For someone not interested in those kind of details you may not be happy with either LTSB or N, because you're probably going to run into things that don't work as you would expect them to.

Is there an actual reason as to why you think the "regular" editions (Home, Pro, Education/Enterprise) aren't "good enough"?
