What is the difference between Winows 7 Ultimate N and the N-1 version?

    Hi all,

    Does anyone know What is the difference between Winows 7 Ultimate N and the N-1 version ?

    N1 became N and original N became E, which was dropped.

    I heard that N is without Windows Media Player. How about N-1 ??

    Originally there was an E version which had IE8 removed and an N version which had IE8 and WMP removed.

    Then both these versions were dropped and instead there was an N-1 version which contained IE8 but still had WMP removed.

    This N-1 version is now called the N version.

    N was without both Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player. Got scrapped together with the E version.

    N-1 is only without Windows Media Player.

    EDIT: lol, didn't type fast enough... crzzui was faster :D

    why microsoft make windows without wmp and ie??
