    Hi,
I have drivers issues, and I posted about it here:
    https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/memory-integrity-is-turned-off.86317/
My laptop originally came with a windows 8 license.
    Computer specs
    • Device name HP-Pavilion-G6
    • Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3632QM CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.20 GHz
    • Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable)
So, I am considering using the original compatible version.
I have a few questions if you may help:
    1) The copy that came preinstalled was version 8.0 single language, so does use 8.1 will be ok? or I may get drivers issues once again?
    2) Is the 8.1 embedded enterprise the lightest version for windows 8.1 or is there another better suggestion? I just want a light fast version.
    3) Will most software work under windows 8.1?
    4) what is the latest .esd, or .iso released by Microsoft for 8.1?
    Thanks

i saw the post that you made. just go back to windows 10 or 11. and just ignore the memory error. because your cpu is too old.

First of all, Check the Lastest Firmware bios for your laptop this way you can upgrade or clean install Windows 10 is BEST choice and I wouldn't use Windows 8.1!!

Windows 8.1 is out of support soon in just 9 days and you either should upgrade to Windows 10 (or 11 with workarounds) if your PC/laptop can run it properly without some lags/slowdown (which usually it should with 1st gen Intel Core CPU or newer), maybe you can wait for some kind of BypassESU that allows you to install Server 2012 R2 updates on Windows 8.1. I'm here and already using Win10 LTSB 2016 for my old Pentium 2009 PC that im still using it to this day, but keeping 8.1 on that Dell laptop to avoid performance problems and sometimes, a bit more overheating on that laptop that can cause random shutdown (even tho thermal paste is already replaced).

Beside, just ignore the Memory Integrity error, your CPU and hardware is too old for Windows 10 and 11, but despite that, you can run the OS just fine (as long you have decent amount of RAM and have a SSD or good HDD), and Windows Defender still protects you, the only things that was matter was probably its related to something like VMs (Virtual Machines)

Thanks a lot for your valuable time replying to my thread and helping me.
I've 2 SSD drives, 1 in the main place, and the second instead of the DVD drive place.
    These are my details:
    HP Pavilion g6-2228ee
    Serial Number
    5CD3012BXV
    Product Number C6S41EA#ABV
Where to find the latest bios for the laptop? because I did not find it on the website.

    Thanks a lot, @Tito.
    Installed successfully.
Please, I've never used any version of any server ever before, so is it like the regular windows?
And will my laptop handle it fine?

    @jineso7341

Welcome and thanks for the feedback.

It would better for you to stick with @TigTex's suggestions. Regarding Core Isolation & Memory Integrity, you can safely ignore them as your platform (and most of the associated device drivers) aren't optimized for any kind of hypervisor-protected code integrity.
