    I don't use it at all and find it annoying.
    Anyone know how to get rid of it?

    Its related to Aero Shake & Snape, when I disabled them it went away. Winaero Tweaker was the method I used.

    In Settings: System -> Multitasking -> Under Snap windows tick off "Show snap layouts when I hover over a window's maximize button"
