Share your opinion about your ISP provider, down and up speed and tell your opinion about what you think about your speed, price and service quality.

My downstairs neighbor and I became very good friends. She has a DSL which I've taken over and locked down.
She had a lot of problems with it until I showed her about MAC filtering. ;)

So, she lets me use it for free, and I keep the ticks off of the network. :)

With nobody on, it's roughly 768kb / sec down. Considerably slower going up though.

I pay for 120 down, and 10 up so this isn't too shabby!

I signed up with Comcast for a 50Mbs connection for $40.00 a month. Six months into the contract they sent me an eMail saying they were upgrading me to 100Mbs, but didn't raise the price. Then last month I got another eMail saying they were upgrading me to 150Mbs, and again, didn't raise the price. Still paying $40.00 a month.

And the icing on the cake is that I get better than 150Mbs.

Well, very nice speed you have there. but for me i don't have actual purpose to push further than 10 Mb/s. Do you guys running some cloud file server's or downloading Terabytes worth of files ?

AT&T... Was better with Comcast but they are too much $$$ until I can get another "introductory offer" contract

That is the only reason I am on Telus fiber optic. Really don't need all this speed.
Telus > Fiber >TV and internet > 2 year contract $160 including tax
Shaw > cable > TV and internet > less than half the speed > Less TV programing > $198 including tax.

Will compare the prices when Telus contract is over and if Shaw has a better introductory offer then I will go back.
    I can play the game 2 :D

    British post office
Thay call it super fast interent
Im in London paying £50 a month
    Speeds wary
    During the day usually 50kb/s
Nights around 1am till morning 250kb/s

I was reading the other day on their website they said theyre goijg to upgrade their lines in my area and that we the customers are going to get trully fast Internet.

I wish yhe interent was a bit faster as its difficult to open websites sometimes.

Its in (Mbps) convert it in to real (Mb/s) and its only about 100mb/s. Probably the whole vote section is wrong because many people think that Mb/s and Mbps its the same. Anyway the idea of this vote is to see if anyone still have slow speeds and some people still have slow network in 2018.
