okay folks, wikipedia is going on black for 24 hours because of sopa legislation in the the us. that means they are WORRIED. okay, so am i.. thought it harmless, some time ago.. But we can see a lot of sites blocked for just one user`s post.. and every site has some problematic users. so every site is at risk.. so i`m asking, should mdl take some action against sopa. i t has dawned on me, that sopa will affect users everywhere, not just in the us.. so for me, the answer is YES! but i would dearly like your opion..
It's not what MDL can do about SOPA/PIPA it's what YOU the user can do about it. You can go here and support the fight against it. MDL on its own cannot do much as a single website, but this forum has thousands of users and together we can do something. If you live in the USA then this has a bigger impact on you so do something about it! thanks r29k, i know i laughed this whole thing away a few days back.. who do they think they are, i thought.. after looking into it, i guess i stand corrected.... it is not about if you live in the usa...... i don`t, thank god..but it will still affect me.. you may well be right, that mdl as such can do little.. and that we must do our thing as individuals.. but even then i feel that members should be made aware of what is happening.. and i hope they take it to heart, wherever they live.. regards, nodnar..
