Hi, I wonder why so many people mod their BIOS with SLIC2.1 and a certificate, while to the current date there are no working OEM licenses known, the only leaked on was already blacklisted by MS, So my question is, will all these modified bios methods works, since there are no known OEM certificates that are not blacklisted ? I ask this question because I requested a bios mod, and it was modded to slic2.1 with HP SLIC, and there was a folder with the HP certificate in the archive I received, but aren't these certificates for Vista instead of Win7 ????
Vista and Windows 7 use the same certificate type for each, so they can be used. Installing these certificates WILL activate Windows 7.
Wrong... there have been a few keys leaked. 22TKD-F8XX6-FIGURE-ITOUT-YOURSELF Ultimate (Lenovo) FJGCP-4DFJD-FIGURE-ITOUT-YOURSELF Ultimate (Acer) 342DG-6YJR8-FIGURE-ITOUT-YOURSELF Ultimate (Dell) YKHFT-KW986-FIGURE-ITOUT-YOURSELF Professional (Acer) 32KD2-K9CTF-FIGURE-ITOUT-YOURSELF Professional (Dell) VQB3X-Q3KP8-FIGURE-ITOUT-YOURSELF Home Premium (Packard Bell) Google is your friend. Wrong again... the original leaked key still works apparently. HIGHLY doubtful that they'd blacklist a certificate..... if that is even possible. Some Vista certs will work with Windows 7 SLICs.
Sorry, I didn't post for the fun of it. @twiz, So these are working leaked keys, so that means my HP one isn't valid ?
